Matiz

Matiz is more than just a bar. That's why its identity called for visual expressions that are more artistic, analog, and even experimental. In addition to creating the visual identity, there was the challenge of using software that generates entirely unique images for each week's bar programming. To feed it, a library of 80 abstract shapes made with paper and textures reminiscent of the Matiz environment was developed in partnership with artist Gabriel Azevedo. This work, combined with the software, allowed for an infinite variety of random compositions.

The software was a collaborative effort with developer Matheus Leston. Three different collage compositions were crafted, leveraging the library of shapes to provide visual rhythm and organization for Matiz's visual expressions.

Its development allowed for the organic generation of collages, continuously creating visual content for the bar's programming. As an audio bar, the overarching inspiration guiding the entire process was the idea of giving form to sound.
